grinding wheels, disks and diamond-bearing tools, SAID’s name contains the fundamental objective of its enterprise:

the same time, has seen the company evolve and diversify its products with ever increased
efficiency in answer to new market trends.

Since its inception in 1975 by Giannino Bonato, SAID has expanded its operations from
grinding wheels for the mechanical and building industries to sanding and polishing tools for
stone material.

The start of disk production goes back to 1982, but the real turning point came in the
beginning of the 90s when the competition from the Far East offered numerous choices
in new automation technologies, rationalization in production and internal organization,
as well as highly improved quality. SAID rose to the challenge and has been able to compete
with the aggressive Asian market.

For approximately three years, SAID research has directed its attention to the development
of diamond-tipped tools used in polishing marble, granite, agglomerates and glazed stoneware.
Innovative solutions, highly competitive with regard to output and durability, have allowed
the evolution of synergetic relationships between the company and its qualified customers.
